Corn, callous and wart removal

Salicylic acid aids in the gradual peeling of warts. This medication is also used to aid in the removal of corns and calluses. This product should not be applied to the face, nor should it be used on moles, birthmarks, warts with hair growing from them, or genital/anal warts. Salicylic acid has keratolytic properties.

Ingrown toenail management

Ingrown toenails are a painful condition that can become infected and necessitate surgical intervention. Onychocryptosis epidemiology is difficult to determine because it is frequently regarded as a minor medical problem and, as such, has been somewhat neglected in the literature. The few studies that have been conducted indicate a slightly higher male-to-female ratio, especially in the 14-25 age group4, but it can affect patients of any age. An ingrown toenail can develop for a variety of reasons, including improper nail cutting technique, tight-fitting footwear, trauma, anatomical factors such as thickening of the nail plate, pincer-shaped toenail, pressure from abutting digits caused by hallux valgus or lesser toe deformities, the presence of a subungual exostosis, and, in rare cases, the use of isotretinoin.in the treatment of severe acne.

Wound care

A chronic wound is a skin wound that does not heal, heals slowly, or heals but recurs. Trauma, burns, skin cancers, infection, or underlying medical conditions such as diabetes are some of the many causes of chronic (ongoing) skin wounds. Wounds that take a long time to heal require special attention.

Diabetes Assessment and Management

Blood sugar monitoring, insulin, and oral medications may all be part of your treatment plan, depending on the type of diabetes you have. Eating a healthy diet, maintaining a healthy weight, and engaging in regular physical activity are all important components of diabetes management.

Biomechanical Assessments

A biomechanical assessment entails a thorough examination of your joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. This assists our podiatrist in determining what is causing the pain and why. A non-weight bearing hip, knee, ankle, forefoot, and toe assessment will be followed by a standing assessment.

Acute and chronic bone, tendon and soft tissue injury management

Muscles, tendons, and ligaments are the most commonly injured soft tissues. These injuries frequently occur during sports and exercise activities, but they can also occur during everyday activities. Soft-tissue injuries include sprains, strains, and contusions, as well as tendinitis and bursitis. Even with appropriate treatment, these injuries may take a long time to heal.
